Hello beautiful people of the Internet.
Apologies for posting almost after a month. I wasn’t able to shoot outside because the lighting was dull, as it was raining a lot during the past days. So, finally here it is.
Bold colors and pastels definitely make a statement but sometimes it’s nice to get back to our roots. Black and white that is!
Black is such a versatile color that you can never go wrong with it. So here I have styled this outfit in a very sophisticated and classy way. It is perfect for those days, when you want to look put together on a fancy dinner but don’t want to make an effort to wear a dress.
I used to be a person who was never into palazzo pants but recently I have been experimenting with them. I feel they are so easy to carry and yet look amazing.
Since, stripes is one the season’s biggest fashion trends. So, here I styled a black and white high waisted vertical striped palazzo pants. It not only looks elegant but also makes me look a bit taller (brownie points for that).
Since, I wanted the pants to be the jewel of the crown, I kept the upper really simple by wearing a plain black tank top. But to add just a little touch of grace, I wore a black crochet shrug which has silver circular detail work going throughout.
I had never worn this piece of clothing ever and I had literally forgotten about it. But hey, some things never go out of fashion. That is what I love about styling that you can always experiment and find what works for you.
For makeup, I kept it pretty basic by applying a light Base to give an even finish and then used a compact to mattify. Then I applied a little blush and highlighter, because it makes the face look so beautiful and dewy. Some mascara and a winged eyeliner for the eyes. You can also go ahead, use some eye shadow and create a smokey eye effect, if you’re going for a night out. To add a pop to the whole attire, I wore the classic red lipstick and I think it complimented the look really well.
For footwear, I wore basic black pumps, which is my ultimate go-to when I’m wearing these pants as they add instant sophistication. But of course, if you aren’t comfortable in heels you could choose to wear flats.
I’m currently obsessing over that statement silver neck piece. So, I paired it up with the silver studs and it completed the whole look.
